Kaptagat Forest Foundation (KFF) inspires and supports the local communities to rehabilitate and restore the Kaptagat Forest ecosystem to a significant proportion of its original state and enhance the local economy’s development.
WHAT WE DO
Our Projects/programme are built on KFF’s three (3) pillars of conservation:
1. Source seeds for tree nurseries
We support the establishment of small household/institutional nurseries and the growing of tree in farm woodlots.
2. Establish nature sanctuaries for restoration of Kaptagat forest ecosystem
We promote and facilitate the change of policy and legal framework to transform the Kaptagat prime forest into local nature sanctuaries.
3. Conservation-based sports
We conduct wildlife conservation awareness through sports and media campaign.
